Centraal Beheer PPI

The premium pension institution (PPI) is a further reinforcement for Achmea in serving the employers market. Achmea operates the so-called defined contribution schemes (DC) under the trade name Centraal Beheer PPI. Achmea has the ambition to further expand the PPI in the coming years. For this, it is necessary to have a perfectly suitable Digital Platform.

Gorilla IT developed a Digital Platform for us with which we launched our new PPI product on a large scale. Partly because of this, it became a resounding success.

The challenge.

Variable pension is a complex and impactful financial product. The digital platform must be flexible because legal regulations and guidelines are regularly subject to change. Furthermore, all participants must be able to determine their financial position directly and easily in the portal. The platform must be absolutely safe and completely reliable.

The case.

Developing a digital platform for a new entity within the Achmea group, which meets the highest quality requirements. This is securely accessible for all participants using DigiD. Including a back office portal for employers, which must meet the same requirements.

In a joined team with Achmea and Gorilla IT specialists, the knowledge, wishes and requirements were recorded in a set of models.

Based on the models produced in the analysis, a prototype was generated with Karooda, our MDD Low-Code platform.

Various workshops were held in a joined team and the details of the system were discussed and recorded.

The professionals from Gorilla IT perfected the prototype into a full-fledged platform.

After extensive testing and subsequent approval of the user organization, together with the IT management organization of Achmea, the platform has been made operational.
